I'm on the lookout for a new phone, and one of the requirements is the ability to play MP3 ringtones (cos I want to keep the same one).

So, do you always keep the same ringtone from phone to phone? And if so, what is it?

i use mp3 ringtones, but usually change them every so often when i get bored of hearing the same tune

The thing is, I've had the ringtone so long that when it rings, I KNOW it's my phone...sounds daft, but very true!!

they seemed to have stopped the usual ericsson ringtone on my replacement ericsson (k700i).....needless to say i sent it back..

I have more important things to worry about than my ringtone. Maybe you should find something else to fill that void in your life

The SE K750i looked great in the pre-release photos (I saw it at the back end of last year), but turned out to be a fair bit bigger than I was expecting.

Some of the mobile phone companies cripple their handsets so that you can't put MP3 ringtones on them (because they want you to pay to download them). Voda did this with the K700i, IIRC.

the k750i is tiny
for such a highly specced phone the size is miniscule

I did briefly have a newer phone (huge brick, sod the fecking cameras and colour screen...size matters ) which played The Monkees "I'm a believer"...that was 'til the sodding thing broke

8310 was substantially thicker than the 8210. I went 8210->8310->6100->6230.

the beatuty is you can have thousands
they cost nothing at all
just search for mp3s and bluetooth the things across its easy
why the hell someone would pay for a ringtone i dont know
