....i have broken the screen on my new phone and need to send it back and get a new one, but i have a major problem...i have some pictures on there that i dont want anyone to see
i usually put all pics on my pc but i hadnt set this phone up to do that.
i am going to loose the pics if i send the phone back, some of them i want to keep....


help me please

Not necessorily you are gonna loose the pics if its going for screen repair.If they are replacing the handset,may be! They always say that you may lose the pics but not always you do.Cant yu save the pics to the SIM or still email them to yourself?Arent the keys working? BTW i wouldnt worry about them seeing your private pics.They get too many fones to repair and they wont misuse them.I hope not anyway!

i have a V3 razor black. i am getting a new phone and then returning the broken one.
i cannot see anything on the screen, when it rings i dont know who it is till i answer it

the pics are on the phone not on the sim

i could move the pics if i could see them

When my phone fell down the stairs they told me I would loose all my numbers etc but when I got the phone back from repairs everything was still there

The PC software that came with my phone allows me to browse, download, create and delete the different folders and files on my phones memory. Did you phone come with any PC software??

ive got a disc in front of me but i dont know what its for.
i cannot even see the pics myself so i cant send them to anybody.
when they recieve my broken phone will they repair it? they are giving me a new one cos its under 28 days old

It should have come with the software Sara mine did i have the silver Razer

load up the software on computer and then plug phone into computer you don't need to use the phone screen

Yes load up the software first then when it tells you plug the phone into the usb socket of your computer using the cable supplied.

My Razer is the early one its only a different colour thats all

If the fone is only 28 days old,surely your pics are saved on the sim?They wont be destroyed/lost.But do as ipkis says.Load software and you are in business!

if you can connect to the phone phsically you should be able to go into my computer on your pc and view the phones storage as F: drive or similar. You could possibly drag and drop to a location on your pc and delete them on your phone also.

i have managed to get half of my pics off the phone but now its not letting me do anymore, i have now got a 'no entry sign' on the phone on the screen ive been trying for hours now and i am going mad

if it has bluetooth you can get a dongle for your pc and browse your files and copy/delete as you wish

ive got a bluetooth fingy and it worked on my nokia but i cant set it up cos i need to activate the phone and i cant see anything on the screen

Try rebooting your machine, that resets the connection. The other thing to do is to try and uplug and re-plug the phone in. Sometimes the connecting cables are poo...
