I'm fairly sure you could just turn up at southampton docks and go to the weekly car auctions there and purchase the same cars. Though I could be wrong.
I'm not too sure about the "all duties and fees paid" part either. I'd like to make bloody sure that import duty and VAT has been paid on the car before it's been auctioned, and somehow I doubt that. Again, I could be wrong.
He's selling information, that's all, the same information that I bet quite a few people on here would be able to give you for free.

My take on his ad is that you are bidding £3.99 for the addresses of the auction rooms.
A little research on the net would probably turn the same info up for nothing.

It was an interesting ad to read, because so many people are selling 'information' I wonder whats so amazing about it I wasnt at any point considering bidding, just wondered what everyone thought about it. Its nearly always info that can be found out yourself for 5 mins work. People will sell anything as long as theyre others out there that will buy it !

Also - someone might want to tell him that if you plan to use size 36 font for your headline, you might want to run it through a spell checker first...
Misspelling the word "directly" doesn't do much for your credibility as someone 'in the know'

He is probably correct in some of what he says, but as said above look at the "duty and VAT". Who is going to pay it prior to the car being auctioned ?????? no one I doubt.
Then you will need a few things done and get through an MOT and registered.
I would also want a full service with belts.
There are definitely savings there but not so cut and dried of the % he says when u add all up what you will have to do to the car.
I imported my own (as a lot of people on here have) , my car at the time would have been worth around £8000 over here.
The cost of the car, plus shipping/insurance, duty, vat came to about £5800.
On the road, add registration, roadtax, sva + bits, full belt service, it was more like £6650.
Which was still a good price on the market value, but what this guy says I believe is misleading. IMHO of course.
I could say that the car cost me £4,800 (price of car and shipping) which is 60% of market value, which would be correct, but doesnt give the proper picture.
