Just having a rant. Driving back home this afternoon with one of the kids in the back got stuck behind a 405 plodding along below 50 so wanting to make progress waited behind at a decent distance waiting for a clear streach. Round a bend then medium steep hill with good streach for a quich pass before the bend at the bottom. Guess what? As I indicate and start the overtake the 405 driver decides it's time to take on the Scoob and floors it so I had to floor it to safely get past. As he had some healthy gravity to help he was able to speed up quite a bit more than if it was on the straight. As I pass him I see the driver laughing his head off with frightened wife and kids as I pass. Anyway, safely in and breaks for the 90 degree bend and guess what? He decides to try an overtake on a blind bend! Anyway, I was off and goodbye.

So why do these people act like this? Grrrrr.

Normally dont, but when w**ers in scoobys sit so close i cant see the bonnet scoop in the rear view mirror i get pissed off and slow down!!!!

I can gaurantee he got hell from his missus for that piece of stupidity.

The funny thing is: you did nothing wrong and he actually went against the highway code. It tells you slow down when being overtaken to allow the car passing you to safely do so. His actions could be classed as reckless driving.
