Try car booting, I wasn't keen at all but did one and got rid of some real cr@p, it's amazing what people buy.
This italian guy turns up in a MrWhippy van, walks past, I had just what he wanted.....an ice cream maker (the cr@p one you put in the fridge).....suffice to say with a bit of bartering and alot of joking he parted with a fiver and bought the thing. To be honest would have given it to him cos it was gettin late.
Really enjoyed it but wouldn't make a habit of it.

Tried our first car boot sale over the may bank holiday, never been to one before. Had a 2 cars full of kids crap, and some stuff left over from pc/hi-fi upgrades.
Sold cables you can get in maplins for £1, for £2! Son sold most of his old action-man collection, daughter the same with old barbie stuff
When we first arrived, it was like "dawn of the dead" as all these "bargain hunters" came en masse around the car, we'd just opened the boot, and there were 2/3 people nearly climbing in to see what we had!
I left the wife to it, and went home with my son after 3 hours, bored to death
Made £90 that day though, on stuff that would've normally gone in the bin
chris.
