Help needed with JEDI dilemma

Help needed with JEDI dilemma
ok, watched the last film twice now, but that point doesn't really add to what I have to say here.
Am having trouble with figuring out where jedis come from!
eg. the younglings? how can their parent's be jedis if jedis are allowed to love others and hence have children?
ie. jedis can't have offspring so where do the new jedis come from?
you could say they just appear and are suontaneous mutations, but if that is the case, then why does obi wan tell yoda that luke is their only hope, to which he repies that there is another (leah).
something is amiss here.

You do realise it is only a film, yes?
They do go into it a little bit in the Phantom menace, When Qui-Gon finds Annekin, and they take a mediclorin(s) test(something along them lines) and basically some people have more than others and the way they explain it i only could make a comaparison of say having Worms....but basically these little life forms can be controlled and with the help of the jedi council and trainers, can turn you into a jedi..
Is very long, the path is young padowan, hehehe gotta love yoda

Right then, he is saying that boy was our last hope because of the phrophecy, which at first they though was Annekin, this said that a strong jedi would appear who would bring balance to the force and make everything peaceful...
They were wrong about annekin and when the next strong jedi turns up they assume it is Luke, when as a matter of fact Leia may be the one....leave it well open for another film even though Luke was the boy and killed all the bad guys, wouldnt be surprised if Leia takes all the credit, typical woman!!!

jeeez guys.... you're all so close.......... LUKE is thier last hope........... LUKE brings balance to the force by getting anakin to return from the dark side and kill the emporer.. therefore returning everything to a balance if it were not for luke it would not have happened.

Annakin built 3PO, and owned R2 from the beginning.

Yeah but if Anakin hadn't porked Padmay then Luke wouldn't exist!
So it has to be Anakin

During 'Clones' Anakin goes to visit his brother / sister / whatever, Owen, at his farm thingy in the desert, and takes along the droids (3PO & R2 IIRC, or maybe just 3PO). With me so far?
So, lets move on to 'A new hope', right at the start the droids land and get caught by Jawa's and sold to Owen. Now, Owen might be getting on a bit and be a little senile and forgetful, but what's the excuse for 3PO not going up to him and saying, 'eyup me old mucker, remember me and little shorty here?'
Not having seen Sith yet, this may all be explained by some memory loss suffered by 3PO, in which case just ignore me. Imagine, in fact, that I was down at Scoobyclinic and wanted a coffee..... Quiet, innit

...so how does he knnow that he's fluent in over 2,000,000 forms of communication upon his first meeting with Owen?
And how come he recognises R2 and says they've been through a lot together (paraphrasing)

Well there's still a load of years between ep3 and ep4 so maybe a lot did happen to them?
Still doesn't explain why Uncle Owen doesn't remember the droids though?

16 years difference? Obi Wan is in his early thirties at worst at the end of ROTS, yet, he is obviously an old man in ANH. Annakin is 23, yet when Luke takes his mask off in ROTJ, he is obviously a middle aged man, but only 16 years have passed.
And, they are well on the way to building the Death Star at the end of ROTS (notice the Peter Cushing lookalike as Tarkin?), but it takes 16 years to finsih!!!!!!!! Indutrial action on a galactic scale?!?!?! It took only a few months to build the second one!
Damn those inconsistencies, they are spoiling my nostalgia!!!!!

Nobody is born a Jedi but must train to become such (like martial arts). Jedi training last a lifetime and the reason Yoda has the 'last hope' discussion is because whilst there will doubtless be many beings that have a high mediclorian count there would be no jedi left alive to train them. If you killed everyone that knew Kung Fu tomorrow then the martial art dies too irrespective of how many people may be 'naturally' able at it.
Anikin is the one that balances the force, just a little late as discussed earlier

guys, I diasgree,
yoda's no, there is another, suggests that there is another potential who could be the prophesised balance bringer (although I believe it was annakin as he does bring balance - there are two jedi and two sith).
But leah at that stage is no more a jedi than anyone else as she doesn't know she has the power, (apart from when she knew luke was hanging from the bottom of cloud city).
The point is, the prophecy doesn't say anything about a skywalker being the chosen one, just that there is one, and so why is that there are only two last hopes left?
So my question still stands, where do the younglings come from? their parents can't be jedis,

As Yoda said in ROTS: "Maybe, misread the prophecy we have."
