Just moved into new house. Bought a new washing line reel (one of the retracting jobbys). Problem is there is no post in the garden or anything suitable to tie the end to.
I've looked in places like B & Q but can't find a post anywhere.

Parents-in-Law got a couple in our local B&Q about 2 months ago...

Maybe if yours don't have them they would order some in for you?

agree i've seen them in our B&Q as well, as the above poster said double check they aren't out of stock.

If you have an old-fashioned hardware store nearby, thats the place to go. I used to own and run one and could get hold of an assortment of these poles with a day or two's notice. Cost about £15 to the customer. Used to get them through a supplier called McMinns in Amersham, in Bucks.

had another thought as well, have you got a wilkinson's near you they have that type of stuff.
