Default Sony Ericsson K700i

Folks,

Anyone got one of these phones?

Been given this as a replacement phone (lost the other one - accidently on purpose)

Anyway, I need to be able to change the number of rings/length of ringing time - if you don't have the fecking phone close by when it rings, you've no chance of answering it.

I've got one of these, good phone too, and I've not had this problem. Surely the length of time it rings depends on the person calling.. Unless you have it set to switch to voicemail.

It does go to voicemail, which is what I want if the phone is unanswered....But I want to at least have a fighting chance at answering it first?

Surely there must be a setting somewhere that controls this?

Sorry mate. Not that I can find. Seems a straight on/off option in settings.

Length of ring before diverting to voicemail is controlled by yr provider - I got Vodafone to change mine to the max last week.

And how right you are too.

I rang our providers, so on O2 you do **61*901*11*nn*10# then SEND. Note nn = number of seconds for the length of ring.
This I guess works on the O2 network as this code was used on a few different phones in here.

if you do ##61# then SEND, it will cancel this and go back to the default(which is **** anyway).

Thanks,

Shaun
