Lewis is a complete ****, living a fantasy via scoobynet....he's probably about 15, claims to be 76..mind you he also regularly makes claims and then fails to substantiate them.....

Whatever happened to free speech, the amazing knack he has is winding every one up.
We should all try to agree with everthing he says for a week or two .......
I reckon he's about 60 ish though.

I have watched Petes posts with interest and "he" is good at what "he" does which is divert logical discussion from any issue "he" doesn't like and turn it into a personal slagging match.
However, watching his posts it is possible that there is more than one person posting from the account. Does anyone else think that pete may not be an individual at all?
Of course just by saying this adds to the "mystery of pete" and it is certain that he probably loves such attention if he is an individual. However, his posts are inconsistent in style at times and I would tend to think that he may be more than one person.
You can, of course, just block his posts and allow yourself to engage in sensible discussion without recourse to personal abuse, while people on here may not agree with each other in truth, apart from the usual suspects, the discussion can usually be factually based and interesting. It would be a shame to let an individual or group with an agenda to obstruct discussion on given topics destroy the scope for open and interesting debate but the users of the pslewis username have certainly been successful in doing that on many occasions. For this reason watching "him" and "his" tactics certainly makes for an interesting study.

He's claimed to be both 13 and 76 or there-abouts, but other posts seem to suggest he has a young daughter, which although possible for both a 13 and 76 year old is pretty sick in both cases.
Whatever, he's our very own troll. Every forum has one (at least) and to keep him going he needs feeding with threads. This will keep him going for some time, although I doubt even this will fill him up enough to stop his random posting.

I have to say I admire this person/entity, they are extremely good at what they do. I do, at times, find it mildly amusing to see how quickly people drop down into personal insults against Pete either when they have lost the argument or where their case had no substance to start with.
Without question there is a vociferous group on here that are very good at increasing the signal-to-nosie ratio on Scoobynet to deafening proportions almost unopposed, rolling out the same old stuff day in, day out, threatening to e.g. emigrate if this event or that event does/does not happen, and are still here long after they should have emigrated or taken whatever action they threatened to take in the first place.
I admire Pete's courage/audacity/stupidity/principled stance (tick whatever box you want) in offering an alternative view and taking a stand against the noise. Having said that I'm not sure why he bothers really, as he has absolutely no chance of changing any of the sometimes entrenched, myopic views articulated by some on here.
It's rather wearying, and an insult to anyone's intelligence, to consistently see threads along the lines of: "My mum got shagged by the dog tonight, it's all Tony Blair's fault!!"
There has to be a tad more to life than this?
