We're having one of those tear-your-hair-out moments at work right now. None of us can remember the name of the spearmint flavoured chewy sweets which you could once get. They were individually wrapped and were similar to Chewitts or Opal Fruits, but white and mint. Any ideas?????

yep. god i loved those sweets!

 

Not originally. In the 70's they were white. They made a comeback in the late 80's with the stripes.

 

That's how I remember them. I was only 6 in the last year of the 70s

I liked the all white ones better..............when the stripes came in they were more spear-minty rather than just minty,
