When you said many 1000s died for I thought you were referring to Iraq where as you know through Blairs lying tens of 1000s of innocent Iraqis have died.

Labour will walk it. Hate to say but they will.

Only chance the Tories have is if Liberals gain Labour voters and it rains!!

The rain thing is quite funny, all the working class labour voters stay at home whereas the Tory voters still do their bit for democracy.

Quite funny, driving around the county, seeing the "Vote conservative" posters in the windows of nice houses in nice estates and seeing the "Vote Labour" posters in the windows of counciil estates and caravans.

Beat me to it. Depressing times when the best we've got is this self-aggrandising, smug, odious little man. Surely he's killed enough people to ensure a welcome in the States on his post PM, pension-securing lecture tour ? Why can't he just p#ss off now?

If, God forbid, he does get in again, he'll p!ss off in about six months. He can't p!ss off now coz Gordon Brown is fully aware that he is another Kinnock who'll drive the moderates away in droves

I'm pretty sure Labour will also get the majority of the lowest ever turn out for a general election. The best they can hope for is about a 10% lead over the Tories which would return them with about the same majority as they have now. The more likely scenario judging by the bulk of the poles is it will be more like 2-5% over the Tories with a majority of less than 100.

However, that still means less than 25% of those eligable to vote have voted them in to power. IMO, that should not be enough for them to form a government. If they had to get 50% of those eligable to vote, there may be some smartish changes in the electoral system to actually get people out there.

I think you're right. Brown is old school and has already shown he is happy to spend what he doesn't have, if he was in the driving seat, we'd be cap in hand to the IMF in no time.

It won't happen but I so badly want Conservative to win. If they are true to their word then my main issue is the "yob culture" which is taking over this country.

Some people say Conservatives are "out of date". Well, if decent values and a low tolerance of tossers is out of date then all I can say is perhaps what is considered "up to date" is very badly wrong.

Well it certainly seems that in the last 8 years, the chavs and yobs are now being nurtured by NL, they are getting their nice cosey dole hand outs and the courts are making sure that their right to nick stuff and make other people's lives a misery is not being infringed. "Tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime" my ****! Don't even get me started on what the Lib Dems want to do about crime.

Yep. Modern people consider decent values to be out of date, out of touch and old fashioned. It's a terrible sign of the times.

If people actually had a clue what they were voting for I think the Tories would have a better turnout. It's a simple case of people voting for the leader of the party based on how they look/sound which seems to me to be Britain all over. Surface, ill-educated and quite frankly an embarrassement.

Yep. The day this country finally goes to the dogs.

I see BBC News 24 are running an article every half hour from prosperous Australia about how they are loosening the immigration rules there for skilled Brits who want to emigrate. They are not making a direct link of course.....

Pretty soon all that will be left here will be scum like pikey lewis strutting around in their 4 quid Tesco denims claiming you've never had it so good.

Majority rules.

Country is full of scum, un-educated pikeys.

Therefore Labour will win.

All you have to do is look at constituencies. Nice places are more aften that not Tory, and ****holes are generally Labour. Hardly rocket science is it.

I've been driving around the last couple of weeks thinking exactly that. Lots of Conservative signs up in the nicer parts of Swindon and surrounding areas, labour signs in the council scumholes. Problem is in Swindon the chavs, crims, illegals and doleites seem to greatly outnumber the 'decent folk', so even though I voted blue this morning we'll probably end up with the Labour kn0b-jockey Michael Wills for another 4 years.

Yep, Labour are a distant third round here. It's a two horse race between LibDem and the Tories, with Lib Dem currently holding the seat.

Still amazes me the amount of low lifes that frequent the local Witherspoons on a weekend, they must be coming in from elsewhere Personally I feel you just have to take one look at any town centre on a Friday / Saturday night for a damming report of the state of moral decline in this country

I'll be off to hand in my Conservative vote a little later

Unfortunately I think its clear Labia will walk it - the sun is out today, so no doubt all those Labour voters will be wandering about the streets with nothing to do, so will probably go and vote

ITV should run back-to-back Trisha today really, then those Labour voters wouldnt leave the house

Sorry to be a kill-joy but we tended to die in the 20th Century so other people could vote.

And I have never voted in my life, and never will.

I suppose I served so I had the right not to vote . Which is the same principle
