The Australian Pink Floyd, brilliant shows, NOW WITH PHOTOS
Hi All,
Seen The Ausiie Pink Floyd at Birmingham NIA on Wednesday night, WOW what a show , if you love Pink Floyd music then you will love this tribute band. There note perfect and also have the stage show and sound that will blow you away.
As of yet they haven't matched the real Pink Floyd shows ,there just a life changing event!!!
I've seen the real thing four times and it looks like there not likely to be touring ever again, so to get a 'floyd fix' then get yourself along to one of Aussie Floyds gigs, nearly 3 hours of pure musical and visual heaven.
If your not sure then buy the DVD they have realsed of there Liverpool Pops gig last year, you will not be dissapointed.

Have to agree with you on that. Seen Aussie floyd three times now and they get better each time. Theyve now got the original Floyd sound and light ppl working for them as well.
Superb band, go and see them.

I've seen another tribute band call 'Off The Wall' there OK but do tend to change the songs a little. Aussie Floyd ARE the BEST Floyd tribute I've seen, it is true that you could shut your eyes and think it is the real floyd. There getting the visuals somewhere near now as well, hav'nt got the quad sound yet though, in the future maybe but it does require a lot of extra equipment.
Go see The Aussies if your a real floyd fan,you won't go far wrong.

Aussie Floyd are about as close to the real thing as you can get without paying 40 quid........as are many tribute bands around the UK.
I play drums for a Bryan Adams Tribute band called RECKLESS. We've been together for 8 years and play alot of the big venues, but,we also take a fair bit of stick for in essence being a covers band. I don't think that people realise just how much work goes into reproducing an artists music to the letter......especially when a band plays a 2 hour set without breaks.
Many people, especially younger generations, will never get the chance to see such bands as the Beatles or the Who or Queen live except for a performance by a top notch tribute band.
If anyone wants to check out RECKLESS and are near the Crewe area, check us out at the Limelight, Hightown, Crewe, on Saturday, May 7th or, Tackeroo in Cannock on Friday, May 6th............YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED.
Skoosh.

Saw them in Harrogate a few weeks ago. Really good Fantastic even...
Unfair in my opinion. If i had the choice of seeing either band, it would be a tough choice.
Theyre OK but nothing like as good as the Aussies
