Question ING Savings Account

I've seen the adverts on the TV, and I'm thinking about starting an account with them, the 5% interest one. But, I know nothing about them.

Anyone got an account with them, are they ok, and who exactly are they?? And will my money be safe which is more important?? Seems great cos you can pay money into them or withdraw using any regular bank account, whereas for example Halifax's online account can only accept money from another Halifax account, which I don't have.

Or am I just concerned for nothing??

Thanks,

Andy.

A&L's is probably a better bet as the rate is slightly higher at 5.35%, but my money all goes into ING (after ISA's as full) as I cant be arsed openning an A&L account!

ING is excellent however, had no problems with them in about a years use, and would defo recommend.

Been with ING for years now and never ever had a problem. Easy to put money away for a rainy day, and easy to get out when it does rain !

I have an account with them & have never had a problem. Their online banking is alot easier than some others as well. Over the few years I have had an account they have remained competitive and are always there or there abouts with their rates.

I've had an account with them for a couple of years - no problems, good interest rate.
