Default Number Plates

Can anyone recommend a reliable & cheap number plate supplier?

I don't want anything flash, just a standard pair of plates the the EU/GB flag on the side....

Thanks.

I have AII WRX for sale, is it for a Scooby?

By the way I had real problems with Fancyplates, they screwed my order up big time, so I returned them for a refund, still waiting 2 years later ..... wouldnt recommend them, sorry!

have ordered about 4 times from fancy plates and never had a problem.

They can accomodate any needs pretty much and have always been very helpful and efficient.

Wink

Don't get EU logos on your Number plates... People won't let you out of side roads... They'll treat you like a BMW driver...

Surely getting an EU logo on the plate avoids the need to have an enormous round GB sticker on the back if you ever drive on the continent?

Seems so - but still a bit messy
The current regulations do not provide for the use of the Euro-symbol on number plates, but some vehicle keepers, especially those who travel to other EU countries, may wish to use this as an alternative to the traditional oval 'GB' plate or sticker. However, to accommodate the symbol, unless the registration mark contains less than 7 characters or at least one 'I', the size of the characters will need to be reduced, or plate size increased. The former may reduce the readability of number plates. In respect of the latter, many cars may not be able to easily accommodate larger number plates.

That link is out of date. They revised the font and made it thinner specifically for the purpose of allowing the Euro symbol. After a public outcry, it appears you're now allowed one of the following above the letters "GB", on a blue background:
1) EU stars
2) Union flag
3) St George's Cross
4) Saltire
5) Welsh dragon

Me too. Plates turned up not as requested so I sent them back with a promise of a refund (still have the copy) no refund given four months later.
