Just ordered a new mobile and amazed at the deal I got - and if you reused your existang handset you could actually run the phone at a profit over the year, that is getting free line rental, calls and texts!!!

Basically phone (Orange SPV C500 smartphone) is free, you get

- 325quid cashback (and free bluetooth headset + mp3 player)
- The phone

Line rental is 50/month, and you cannot downgrade line rental for the first 6 months, so;

6 months at 50/month = 300
further 6 months at 19/month = 114

TOTAL outgoing = 414

However you then reuse your old handset, so sell the new handset sim-free on Ebay;

Handset = 100
Cashback = 325

TOTAL income = 425

PROFIT = 11 - and remember you get 100's of mins of free calls and texts!!!
