Ideas on how to cheer up after splitting up with GF
Hi all,
Just split up with the GF.
I -like everyone else- have my own ideas about ways to cheer myself up a bit, but thought it miight be interesting to hear views from others! 
So, how have you lot got over an ex?

i concur, get out on the lash with the boys and remind yourself of all the things you have been missing, plus you will eventually pull a new improved less neurotic version!

Try and concentrate on all the crap things she did, rather than dwelling on the good times. Stuff like her borrowing your razor to do her bikini line, and spitting when she should've swallowed.
Then try and get out of town for a weekend - if you have any friends you haven't seen for a while arrange a 48 hour drink / drugs / hookers bender.
[edit] You could also leave the toilet seat up whenever you f**king well feel like it, too. In fact, deliberately **** on the floor next to the bog, its very cathartic !

1) Pull a minger
2) Book a trackday or Red Letter day thing
3) Watch the grand prix down the pub with your mates and get bladdered
4) Burn any of her belongings you still have
5) Make an **** of yourself at the local karaoke bar
6) Sunday morning Swim, Sauna, coffee and papers, pub lunch, sleep, pub by the river.
7) Flirt outrageously with someone at work
8) Buy a new shirt
9) Take up a new hobby
10) Weekend in Amsterdam or Dublin

To be honest the revenge thing doesn't really appeal to me, the way i look at it is why devote any part of your life to making someonelse miserable, when you'd have more fun looking at ways to make yourself happier!!

Don't stay in and don't listen to sad music, don;t drink too much as it can be depressing when you come off the sauce on a Monday. Keep busy and avoid thinking about it too much

Strongly suggest a long weekend in Moscow. It is by far the most amazing place for stunningly beautiful and available women who would be more than willing to take your mind off your loss. I go over every few weeks. Incredible, and even more so when you speak some Russian ( (I study at evening classes).
Simply walking down Tverskaya Ulitsa( Moscow's Oxford Street) in summer just has to be experienced by all red blooded males.
