ITV-f1 website is down as well, probably due to all the e-mail complaints. We have just missed three of the best laps of the race due to the adverts

What was the point? 4 laps to go, advert. Come back on last lap. Race over, straight to another advert.

ITV-F1 sucks.

What a top race though. Would have loved to see Schuey win, but it was good to see Alonso hold him off.
Good to see Schuey can still show the young guns a few wise tricks.

Kam-Top race it was.

Glad it wasn't just me who got the right **** with this either. We were priviliged to be watching one the of truely great drives by Schmacher - I couldn't believe they went to an ad break that late in the race. Utter waste of time, especially with that *** James Allen commentating - please let Brundell do it on his own.

A finish which reminded me of the race at Monaco where Mansell (on fresh rubber) was hunting down Senna for the last few laps.

Haven't seen racing like that for a while, although the pace of Schuey's Ferrari doesn't bode well for the rest of the season!!

I guess ITV assumed the finish wouldn't be as close as it was, and miss-scheduled the adverts......

Quote the Daily Mail - F1's programmes executive producer, Neil Duncanson, said : None of us are happy, buy it was unavoidable. We are contracted to advertisers who pay top dollar and it helps keep sport like F1 on terrestrial television.

We delayed the final break of 2min 45sec because we gambled Michael would catch and overtake Fernando before the end. !

What a race, shame about the adverts - do like the ITV team but would like it back to BBC for the lack of breaks

You'll still get adverts, they can handle 45 minutes without addies but not 2 hours.

Can't believe they went to an ad break with 3 laps left and the first 2 cars seperated by the skin off a rats knacker...

JOhnny Walker was talking about this on R2 with the sports news guy, they were taking the p!ss HUGE style Then the news guy said that he had still heard the end, as he turns James Allan's commentary off, and listens to it done properly on the radio

BTW Anyone not impressed with JA should visit sniff petrol's website & buy a t shirt

What a ***** up. Even my wife, who can't stand F1, was enthralled watching Schuey reel 'em in. Then they completely ruin the climax. And dont forget we missed Schueys last pitstop as well!!
Anyone go the show taped? I'd like a list of the companies in that last break, so I can avoid them.
Can only remember the Vauxhall ad, so I'll start with them. Not that i ever had any intention of buying one of their pieces of sh!te anyway!

I've emailed ITV, although fat lot of good it will do!
