Some of the classics, great expectations, ice cold in alex, hobsons choice, an endless list, i dont think he ever made a bad film, shame hes gone

Enjoyed his films, didn't know him so cannot comment on whether he was nice or not, but he entertained me more than once.

A true gent, unfortunately not may people you can say that about in this day and age. He had a good innings though, hope he's at peace and re-united with wife.

Outstanding actor of all types of parts and very highly respected in showbusiness.
Hope they show some of his films now-worth seeing.
He always had the air of a true gentleman about him and that was good to see.
