Default thepeoplesweb vs ebay

On the face of it thepeoplesweb.com looks to be a good deal cheaper for online selling than ebay. They charge just £5 for a years adverts! Anyone here signed up yet?
Not sure how many people registered they have, but it has to be worth a shot compared to the other sites that make a killing when you do manage to make a sale.
Had a quick look at the site and you can do wanted ads as well. So scope for more sales of stuff that you thought was not saleable if it is wanted by someone else.

Thumbs up

Interesting concept and a great alternative to ebay (never been keen on ebay anyway). Only issue at the moment is that their server seems a little slow, even on broadband.

I wish them well and I'm joining up as we speak!

I think its slow as it was on working lunch so probably had a load of unexpected people all trying to log on. Could be a missed oppotunity for them if they have vastly under estimated the level of interest this would generate though.
