Road Safety Bill (laser jammer ban) dropped
http://www.politics.co.uk/legislatio...itemid=7197862.
Hoorah for labour starting the ellection process and squashing the road safety bill.
Laser detectors and jammers remain not outright illegal for a little longer. Rumour also has it Mercedes and Jaguar have approached the european courts as they both have homebound technology to open garage doors gates lights ect which would become illegal under the proposed new legislation.
So if they are succesful it could open up a loophole for the newer dual purpose devices.
I had a gut feeling it wouldnt go anywhere and thankfully i was proved correct. Andi f the tosser labour government get outed in the election hopefully this will never see the light of day again.

I'm not so sure. All of the main parties are going to be struggling for cash. I cannot see why they will not reinstate a bill that did not have that much popular opposition
