job offer by email??
Just had an email offering me a job, well known company, no other details ,
just to call to confirm.
initially i thought it was a wind up, but the email addy and company data are correct..
would this be legally binding, or should it be confirmed by letter etc..

Sounds odd. I guess if you're interested it does no harm to phone up and ask how they got your details and why on earth they'd just send out an email offering you a job without even inviting you in for an interview first.
