heard this on radio 1 dunno if it was a wind up or not bt does anyone know how to send anonymous txts from ur phone could be a laugh winding up your mates also said u could replace ur number with someones name .

 

Advertised over in Australia on the radio is the anonymous text thing via a dating service.

I have no idea what the details are and don't see the point unless you want to be a pain in the *** to someone IMHO.

 

I think that comes under stalking laws though, you can get done for that kind of thing these days. I have not heard of being able to send anon texts from a phone, but there are applications you can download and some websites that did do it, but I think they've been forced to make you register.

 

www.cbfsms.com is about the only one left where you can send messages without registering but it doesnt always work.

 

There used to be one where you could put the senders number as anything you like...
Doesnt seem to be online at the mo tho.

It was great- huge wind up potential, and it worked!

 

If you have a nokia & your mates have one you can send an email but its really a text msg

u can send text message to land line. Some bird then calls the number and reads your text out. Most swear words work!

Well, nowadays, it is very easy to send anonymous texts to anyone. You can send through different websites like spoof box and sms gang etc. However, I would recommend you to use it only for fun purposes.
