Didn't mind too much either way tbh

Dunno if anyone noticed, but out of the whole lot of them, only about 5 were actually born in the uk. All overseas postgraduate students.....going there specifically for the boat race? Surely not


On that note, it'd be nice if those crews entered rowing events other than the boat race. They do tend to get hyped up as being the 'elite' and best in the UK and all that. Some of them are, but certainly not always, and I found it annoying that they'd never race anyone else other than Oxford or cambridge etc....
No crews from those places ever enter the national championships, or the university champs and so on. It'd be nice to know how good they actually were
