it was OK - nowhere near as frightening as I remember as a kid 
Hopefully the series will get better.
Also annoyed a BBC ****** up with Grahame Norton overdubs as the start - pure incompetance!!!

I thought it was good, but I'm easy to please 
It's good old fashioned entertainment. No matter what it was like, there would be critics.
However, one thing I did think was ****e was the photoshopping on the photos. I could have done it better and I'm no graphic designer! The Beeb should have more talented people available to them!

For a while i thought that i was watching Eastenders 
I will give it another episode or two before finally deciding, but so far it seems like another over-produced BBC bunch of hype. The promotions, backgrounds, foregrounds and other junk lasted longer than the program itself
Oh, and Billie wears too much make-up, although i wouldn't kick her out of my tardis

Got to agree I mean you could be watching “I’m (some one you never heard of) get me out of hear”, “Big (run out of idea’s three years back) Brother” or yet another home makeover program. It’s a breath of fresh air if you ask me.

I saw Christopher Eccleston walking through reception in the hotel I was staying at on Wednesday evening... Marriott hotel @ Swiss cottage Regents Park.. He looked over and said alright then drifted into the lift. Initially I thought it was a mate then realised who it was.
I wish i'd have seen this episode tonight so I could have shouted 'I don't like those ears'
Episode was alright... but the acting level was questionable.

Nearly leapt behind the sofa when those manequins began moving...I HATE anything like that....dread the return of the Cybermen..........Otherwise, yes.9/10 good start.

For trhe amount of money that was spent on it - and it was broadcast in mono.
I watched it on NTL cable and had to switch over to another channel to make sure that my home cinema was set up alright.
I don't know if it was recorded that way, or if my someone at NTL ballsed it up - but surely a program like this is crying out for great surround sound effects?
Anyone else i n a different region - with a different provider notice this ?
