Red face Mudeford BeachHut Price Collapse!

Beachhuts in Mudeford were exchanging hands at £130,000 18 months ago!

There are now 22 For Sale, one has just been to auction - the bidding stopped at £80,000 ..... below the reserve!

Sign of what's to come, maybe?

The UK population is borrowing £1million every 5 minutes, the fastest growth in the Western World ........ I am sure it simply cannot be maintained?

One world event that makes interest rates jump and there's a ****load of people in the knackers yard!

Anyone that pays £120,000 for a shed needs a good kick in the nuts, if you ask me. Hardly compares to a nationwide property price collapse does it? Surely it's just waking up to the fact that a 6x9 B&Q shed on a beach perhaps isn't the great investment Llewellyn-Bowen and his ilk would have had you beleive 2 years ago.

Nope its not sustainable, nor are the Labour policies which have created this mess in the first place. Propping up the economy with cheap borrowed money was never going to continue forever, and always going to end in tears.

I have no sympathy for the stupid b@stards who paid 130k for them last year, just like I have no sympathy for the gready buy-to-let tw@ts who borrowed crazy amounts on interest only mortgages assuming house prices would continue rising, and are now left with property they cant sell for anywhere near what they owe on it.
