St Patrick's Day - What you doing??
It is our monthly curry club tonight which is great timing.
We are starting at great "irish" bar in Norwich called Delaneys, seven of us meeting at half five, curry booked for eight, looking forward to it.
Anybody else got things planned, or is just black stuff until you fall over?

Most people aren't 'celebrating' St Patricks day, they are merely downing a pint or two of Guiness before going back to their usual tipple. However, any excuse for a **** up is what most people will think.
How many 'english' will celebrate an Irish day and how many of them also celebrate St Georges day?

Anyway, I'm playing for my skittles team tonight. So nothing out of the ordinary, and besides as mentioned by others I'm not Irish so I won't be celebrating it

Visiting Dad in hospital, then off home to fit some carpet grippers.
Roll on April 23rd.
Oh, and April 9th.
Oh, and this Saturday.

Sod all to do with my Irish ancestry, but I will be having a pint of my usual black stuff

MMM all these English celebrating St Patricks day, but wont be seen for dead on St Georges day.
I will be with 100 or so like minded people in Blackpool on St Georges day having a good knees up with different lads from around the country.
People in this country do make me wonder sometimes.

God some of you a truly sad! If I wasn't stuck at home with the mumps I'd be out drinking lots of Guiness tonight - not because of some clever marketing (as I normally drink it anyway), but I would be out because I like having fun. I might not be Irish (although I'm 1/2 Scot so there's a bit of the celt about me, to be sure ), but how many of you who make the point about "the English celebrating St Patrick's day" are praticing Christians? Right, so you don't celebrate Chritmas either then? You much have such exciting lives!

Have had a right ball today - Spent 4 hours this morning in the kids school teaching 150 kids to play the bodhran (and drinking Guinness) - Then me and the guitar player (Paddy) got dropped in Downpatrick (where St Paddy is allegedly buried.) Had a few pints of Guinness, bit of a session and went to watch the parade (with some Guinness) Afterwards we went for a few tunes (and some Guinness) and recently I arrived home blootered - I blame the food colouring
