Been treated for H. Pylori (only had it for 5 years before they would give me blood tests for it), and the treatment has not worked, so I need to see a gastroenterologist (sp?).
After the doctore wrote the leet (2weeks ago) to the hospital, I have just got a letter saying 17weeks before I can be seen!

What makes it more annoying is the fact that I now have private health cover through work, but as it is a moratorium agreement (and the symptoms pre-existed the cover) - I can't use the private cover!

Oh well, 5 months of taking pills to stop my stomach feel like it's trying to melt itself!

Got a letter last week about having a real-time X-Ray done on a broken bone - 14 weeks!.

Then got a phone call asking if I could make it on 1st April...so as long as it isn't an april fool...

Should think a broken bone would heal in some pretty strange ways after 14 weeks, and the masochists would probably need to re-break it again!

been broken for about 7 years... but took them 2 years to find it.

Scaphiod bone at base of thumb - only has 1 blood vessel (?) going to it so the bit that broke off has died. Aches like buggery when it's cold
