Hi there,

I'm guessing that a fair few people on here have renewed their subscription to Origin b2 after their intial 6 months, but has anyone let it run out and then renew it say 2 or 3 months later?

My subscription ran out at the beginning of December last year, and I need it again now so I renwed it over the weekend, expecting another 12 months download access.

Wrong! It seems to have kindly backdated my new subscription to start the day after my previous one ended - so I've lost at least 2 months of service.

Is it me just being a tight b*****d, or is this a little bit cheeky of Origin Technologies?

I thought I was paying for download access, not actually how much/when I use the actual device.

Same thing happened to me. Mine had been out of date for 4 months when I updated it so I was not amused. Give them a call and they'll correct it.

I waited over 6 months to renew, and as said it initially stated I had less than a year... a quick call and they reset me

It's a shortfall in their software, nothing more Or a clever ploy in the hope of attaining a regular yearly income LOL
