I'm a fellow ebay virgin but I can help with a couple of your questions. First off, you can either upload one image from your computer or you could use a hosting site such as photobucket and copy and past the URL into the ebay site.
I've signed up for Paypal but have yet to receive any money yet but I'm hoping to sell these wheels this week so will probably test it out then.

Selling.
1.Presentation is the key, good photo's and a good, honest description with loads of info.
2.Have a reserve but put your starting bid very low, then you get lots of bids which gives others confidence.
3.I buy with paypal for small, low cost items.
4.Charges,always seem reasonable to me so dont take much notice.
5.I host the pics in my webspace and link to them, you have more control and once mastered its a doddle.
6.Answer emails politely and fully.
7.Make sure you list it in the right category.
Buying.
Just use your common sense, and dont get carried away.If it seems to good to be true, it is,and something else always comes along.

Also while there are a few scamsters out there, there is also a lot of really decent honest sellers so dont be too bothered by scare stories, just use your common sense.
