Cold Water Fish Tank - Help
Just a quick question to the Fish keeping people on here.
I've got 3 Goldfish in a cold water fish tank and when im changing the water (10 -20%) at a time, I have some bottles of tap water at room temperature that I replace it with.
Question.
Can I use filtered water from my water filter that is fitted in the Kitchen, Or should I just replace with normal tap water.
I live in South East Kent and have quite hard water.

From what I understand about household water filters they remove most of the beneficial minerals. It's a bit like reverse osmosis water whereby you have to add the minerals back to the water before adding to the tank.
I would suggest you just stick with the general tap water and use some de-chlorinator tap water treatment which is cheap as chips.
