I know... its pissed me of a treat...

depending on what other damage may have occured, its not looking too good..

i,m rekoning on for basic bumper & support its £350 then theres remove old one spray new one and refit..

i reckon a further 3-500 there

factor in any probs underneath eeek

i hope its just a simple fix

as you say the height of invisiblity

Hi Mart,

Sorry to hear that. Just goes to show how good your stealth technology is

Remember I posted about that heat shield, think you send me a message saying you had haynes manual pics or similar, haven't received them yet, just wondering if you sent them or not?

If not please send to my e-mail address as per my profile. thanks.

Mart360 - same thing happened to me about 18 months ago.

Got some good news for you - most of my damage was the bootlid and hangers but insurance replaced the bumper anyhow. I have the original (actually came from my 98 Type R) with very minor damage if you want it - free if you collect from me in Edenbridge (near Tunbridge Wells) as I am moving to Spain soon.

I know it feels bad now but believe me - you'd rather have that happen than what I'm going through with my Scoob right now...more to follow.

Cheers,

Russ

sorry to hear that Mart. Just a thought but do you think they will repair it if there is a lot of damage? GL's aren't worth an awful lot now
you got any pics of the damage?
hope you get it sorted ok!

I know what you mean....

i rekon it will be a bye bye scoob job

the bumper and bits + paint and labour will be 8-900 ish.. = vat on top

thats without looking to see what damage has occured to the underneath..

the tow bar needs loking at and the mounts checking... & the geometry will need to bechecked also..

factor in the hire car they have supplied ..

mm dont look good.
