This is so daft
The top right tune is by Cabin crew- and is called 'waiting for a star'. Its been circulating on white label for months. Now signed to Data- release on March 7th/april 7th (TBC)
The top left is by De La Cruz, and is called 'Where U belong' - again, a white label.
The one on the turntable is by Sunset Strippers, and is called 'Falling stars'- white label ... now signed to direction- released on march 7th/april 7th (TBC)
They all sample the same sodding tune- Boy meets girls' 'Waiting for a star to fall' (the one used in the film three men and a little lady).
What baffles me is why two not exactly small record labels are releasing pretty much the same tune on the same day.
They are for the most part- IDENTICAL...they use the same samples, the same kind of hooks etc.
madness
The only different one is the 2nd one (de la cruz) which is totally different, and very daft punk esque-nicely done too.
Its catchy i will give it that- and to be fair, ive been playing one or the other occassionally for the last few months and its got a good reaction every time.
