Your sex life ........ discuss.
I am starting this as a serious thread although I know it will probably spiral into a bout of inflated truths and sniggering.
What I am trying to acertain is how regularly couples are having sex at certain points in their lives. We are led to believe that in our rampant hormone overdosed teenage years, we are all at it like rabbits. Then, as we marry, have kids and grow old, our urges and desires are supposed to wain.
Certainly from my own point of view, I do not place Sex as high on the list of priorities as I once did. I am 32, married and hoping to start a family in the next 12 months. My wife & I both work hard, I have my own business, and when it comes to bed time, sleep is 1st priority. With regards to how many time we make love, at the moment it equates to probably no more than once a fortnight!!!!!!
My fear is, if it is like this now, what will it be like when we hopefully do have children. Should I take down the mirrored ceiling now? 
So, honestly, on average how many times do you and your partner have sex. Please also state your age, marital status and whether you have kids.
Let the fun begin.

Living with girlfriend. Been together 18 months. Me 35, her 33 today. One kid each, hers with us, mine with ex.
Full on rampant stuff 3 or 4 times a week
Slightly less full on but satisfying stuff 2 or 3 times a week
One night off a week, usually a sunday after we've done Leeds - Southampton and back in one day (visiting my daughter)
Living with girlfriend. Been together 18 months. Me 35, her 33 today

Well, kids certainly do have a dampening effect on your sex life. You're just too knackered!
About once a fortnight (maybe a little bit more), married, 2 kids, 38 yrs old.

27 and been living together 4 years+ but have been going out for over 7 years! 
Tends to be once a week but we are on a drive to make time for each other at least three times a week.
Definitely takes a concerted effort but the rewards are worth it!

26 and have been together for 5 years, living together for 2.5. Down to about once a fortnight if I'm lucky - but it's always me who initiates it. Getting married in the summer and already wondering how much further down hill things can go

A little raw this one. I just split up with gf, me 31, her 28.
After 3 years we were at it once or twice a week (initially 4 or 5 of course). I wanted more, which was one reason for the split, she felt "pressured" to do it, i.e. reading between the lines she just didn't fancy me anymore!
We tried to keep it interesting but there's only so much you can do.

Reading this thread is completely shocking TBH. As someone else has mention, if there are people trying to conceive, then how the hell can they having sex once every week or fortnight 
I am currently 35 years old, divorced from my Ex, and have four lovely daughters.
When I was married to my wonderful Ex, who was either pregnant all the time, or looking after a young baby, it just didn't seem to happen enough to notice a pattern. Usually when I had done all my allocated jobs, been shopping, cooked the tea, cleared the house up, etc, etc, and behaved myself all week, I guess to was once or twice a week (if I was very lucky) After my first daughter was born, we didn't have sex for 6 months. When we did the durex split, and guess what she was pregnant again I could go on but I won't!!
Eventually we split (after 14 years) and from my perspective, I reckon the main cause for the split was the lack of sex. I eventually fell off the road and went somewhere else for it. Oh the other cause I believe is she switched her attention completely from me to the babies, and I appeared to be no part of any of it.
I was always lead to believe that men sex life peaked at 19 and went down hill from there. Whereas women would be not that good when younger, but peak at the age of 35 to 40. I reckon I was rubbish at sex at 19, but did have the enthusiasm. Reached 25 to 30 ish and not only had I got the hang of it (by now) but I was still very enthusiastic
Been single for nearly 3 years now and I can honestly say that it would appear I was getting it more than most married / in a relationship people who have posted on here
In my humble opinion, women (in general) do get better / enjoy sex more when they get older. A lot of it does come down to how tired they are and what there emotions are like that day / week.
The women I'm seeing at the moment, insists on having a little practise session every time I see her (probably 4 to 5 times a week) and usually involves a couple of laps per practise session. She open to suggestions, and so far I can't fault it I don't think I can really say anymore about her than this other than, she's far exceeded my expectations
Anyway, you blokes should be doing something about it. I lost count of the amount of times I've heard female friends saying there blokes don't seem interested (sexually) in them anymore, after a few months. To busy playing on there: -
Xbox / Playstations
Watching TV
Playing on the Internet (and that does include scoobynet and ****)
Going to the pub
I'm not saying it's all the men’s fault, but you really need to think about it, and generally make a bigger / better effort in future Come on guys, get to grips

I think I'll start taking booking, surely driving around the country servicing all those poor girls ladies, got to be better than consulting in technologies / IT / Management?As SCOsazOBY as mentioned there are a few keys things to getting this resolved. Make them feel wanted and attractive, try a bit of flattery and most importantly I HOPE YOU ARE TALKING to them about how you feel, but don't make it one sided
It's not rockets science now is it?
