My sister is awaiting delivery of one - they look really good. I'm going to see what hers is like then may order one myself. I'll let you know when it arrives

I'm undecided myself. They are trying to make not having a screen into a plus point and I'm not so sure that it is. I have a full sized iPod and think it is great but am not at all sure that the shuffle will appeal to anyone other than the Apple faithful until it gains a screen. On the positive side the price seems pretty good and iTunes is a good interface so perhaps for some people not having a screen will not be a problem.

If I were looking around in that market I would certainly be giving the shuffle serious attention but suspect the lack of screen would put me off. There are also some other features it lacks that might be nice to have so perhaps the iPod mini might be worth consideration if it fits the bill? It isn't as small though so probably not ideal for the gym or the like.
