**** me How did that trooper manage to stay so polite. If that'd been me I would just got my gun out and blown his kneecaps off
I assume he'd been stopped for DUI?

They're on their way in. Some UK police already carry them.

It is nothing to do with being the hard man. I've been electrocuted by pretty much everything else, so I really am curious as if would really drop me to the floor.
Which reminds me...has anyone got some HID headlamps I can borrow for a few mins? Just to try something out

I'm the same as you, have taken many direct belts from the mains, car ignitions, mower magnetos etc. but a taser causes totally involuntary muscles spasms across your whole body, you lose control of pretty much everything!

Uk Tazer works by firing 2 barbed hooks attached to insulated wire via a compressed gas delivery system. They have adequate range for most situations. One barb is fired lower than the other to get a decent 'spread' Once attached to skin, clothing and in some cases the floor nearby, 50,000 volts are passed through the barbs for 5 second. Very painful and will drop anybody regardless of how many shocks previously suffered. The wounds self cauterize (spelling) and do not bleed at time of impact and only slightly afterwards. There are no lasting effects and people tazered recover almost instantaneously, hence why the drunk kept getting up, its the memory of the pain that keeps most people down!!

It makes you do one of two things, you either fall like a domino, straight over all tensed up or it makes you curl up like a ball as all your muscles contract!!! Very funny to see!!!
