Which Football team should you support !
I am doing a survey using the AA route finder to see which team you should support depending on what hospital you were born in !
My results are
Place of Birth Epsom Surrey
Wimbledon 11.2 miles
Crystal Palace 12.7
Fulham 14.1
Pleased I didnt support Wimbledon as I would now have to travel to Milton Keynes
Also the river is against Fulham as it would be closer as the crow flies but you have to go via a bridge !
use this link if you want to check !

I was born in Raynes Park, so that makes me Wimbledon through and through - which is what I am !!!
Fulham - if you had been a Don you wouldn't have gone and joined the scummers up in MK - You would have stayed loyal to your area and now support AFC Wimbledon.
Currently top of the league, about 8 points clear with two games in hand in thre Ryman Division One
Life is good down at AFC Wimbledon...

This is the method Frank Skinner advocates, and if I had used this method I could have chosen from Manchester City, Stockport County, Port Vale, Stoke City, Crewe Alex, or even FFS ManUre All of which are within 20 miles of where I grew up.
However as my Mum's parents were scousers, and I was the chosen one in my Grandma's eyes I got taken to Anfield from a very early age and saw the true path of enlightenment
PS, My Dad is a clayhead, so the second result I've always tended to look for is Port Vale's

Born Manchester = Manchester United.
Higher percentage of United season ticket holders come from within M postcode range or 0161 dialling code than those at City's Boo camp.
This whole idea that all United fans only come from outside of Manchester is very funny. Yes United are the worlds most supported team and this of course leads to loads of day trippers from out of town, but 70% of fans that fill the ground every week (still more than most premiership capacities) come from within the Greater Manchester Area.

Was born in Workington so should be Workington Reds.
Until last season nearest league team was Carlisle United.
Now nearest is Probably Newcastle United or maybe even Bolton. If you count Scottish it's Gretna.
...and I support Tottenham for some reason...

So that makes me, a United fan one of only four people who actually live within 10 miles of the club they support?
What's that about out of towners then?

Born Scunny, support Middlesbrough. I just got caught up in it all when I lived in Boro as a student- had little interest in football until then. It really was very different living in a town that is completely mad for just one team, compared to coming from somewhere where it seemed like everyone supported a different club.
And when cup fever hit the Boro- well that just lifted it to another level!
