Replacement Canon Digital Camera Batteries
Anyone bought one of the cheap replacement batteries like this from 7dayshop:
http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/prod...oducts_id=8345
Off to the Maldives in April so want to make sure if I have enough battery power and CF cards (although will be taking laptop to download piccies to anyway).
Original Canon battery is £40 and the one above is £9.99 - anyone bought one, if so any good? I normally go for branded stuff but at 4 times the price its a bit steep.
Is for an Ixus V3 btw - battery NB-1LH.
Cheers,
Simon.

I think there is a possibility that they are not quite as good as the originals, but it all depends on who makes them. I don't think Canon actually make their own, so it should be possible to get one just as good, but cheaper. I had a Canon BP-511 copy for my 300D and it was absolutely fine. For £10 you can't go wrong!

I bought a BP511 battery from 7dayshop and it's as good as the original. IMO no need to buy the original Canon one at £54!!!
