Default Bubble warp...whats' the best for insulation?

The big bubbles, or the small bubbles?

It's for insulation...not for popping or protecting posted goods from the Amtrak monkeys

I'm glad you said that...As I have a whole roll of the small bubbles in the office which I'm sure I could "dissapear" quite easily

more air = more insulation so probably a few layers of small bubbles.

try sticking tin foil to it also ... http://www.ybsinsulation.com/airteccavitywall.htm

What's it for? If its going to be used in sunlight then normal bubble wrap will degrade under UV. You can get greenhouse bubble wrap which is treated though I think.

It's for a lean-to with a clear corregated platic roof...I would have though that would suck up most of the UV?

Mind, how do you know the stuff from garden centres/B&Q is UV proof?

It's usually marketed specifically as greenhouse or outdoor insulation. Its actually much tougher to the feel than normal stuff. It may be the same stuff they make swimming pool covers out of too.

You are right though, if it is placed under the corrugated PVC sheets it should be ok.

Alternatively you could replace the corrugated sheets with those twinwall polycarbonate sheets used on conservatories.
