Bubble warp...whats' the best for insulation?

more air = more insulation so probably a few layers of small bubbles.

What's it for? If its going to be used in sunlight then normal bubble wrap will degrade under UV. You can get greenhouse bubble wrap which is treated though I think.

You are right though, if it is placed under the corrugated PVC sheets it should be ok.
Alternatively you could replace the corrugated sheets with those twinwall polycarbonate sheets used on conservatories.
