Default Sheffield to Leamington Spa..

Hello, i'm a newbie and just needed a little help.
Need to go to Leamington Spa on Saturday but don't have a clue how to get there. I know that I have to use the M1, but after that I am totally lost.
Thanks for your time.

I'd go down the M1 to Leicester, then the M69 which joins the A46, skirt around Coventry on that and your there, a doddle.

M1 exit J21. M69 to Coventry, follow A46 to M40 South, exit J14. A452 to Leamington Spa?

Don't do that....

Take the MI up to j21 then M69 right up to the end where it joins the A46, this then splits into 2, stay in the right hand lane and head towards Coventry/Leamington.

quite a few roundabouts and then take the A452 which is signposted Leamington spa. You do NOT need to get on the M40 as this will bring you into the back end of Leam and will increase your journey by about 10 miles. It should take you around 1hr 45 mins

Watch out for the Gatsos after the island by Cov airport, and for a mobile one on the bridge on the A46 at the Stoneleigh / uni' exit.

I used to do it in a lot less than 1hr 45 minutes; but there where no speed cameras and I was on a promise.....

Question

Midland Mainline to Derby, Virgin Trains to Birmingham, Chiltern Trains to Leamington. No speed cameras!
