Ah yes, The Beast On The Road tour. Saw them a few times in the early 80s, was that the tour when Nicko McBrain was playing drums for the support band, Trust? They were also a great band, socio-political French punk-metal, anyone remember their albums Repression or Marche ou Creve?

I think I have an explaination...relating to age demographics - When was the baby boom now...1940 sommat?
Well, in short. There are more oldies than young'uns about these days. Also the young'uns, will either be at school, at work (or signing on), far to busy to go to a record shop and buy a single. And finally, the young'uns have grasp of modern technology, so have ripped off all their favourite singles via file sharing!
The oldies however, have loads of time on their hands, do not know about filesharing and peer to peer networks. And during an average working day, they do seem to loiter around town and shopping centres an awful lot!
Simple!
