Met my first Lottery Jackpot winner today
My house is on the market & had a chap come round to look at it.
In conversation he was quite open about the fact that 2 weeks ago all his numbers came up & he along with his syndicate won the jackpot.
Only downside (if thats the right word !!) was there were 19 others in the syndicate, they each got just over £200k......pretty cool.
I asked him what it was like seeing all the numbers tumble out of the machine in TV & he said that every single week he sits in front of the TV checking his numbers, but on that occasion he didn't ! He got a call from another member telling him they had won.
Keep playing.....it could be you

One of our customers at work was part of a winning syndicate.
He is a right chuff.
Also, when I worked for Halfords years ago, seemingly the manager of another branch won something like 200k, then two weeks later won several million on the jackpot.

I know two lottery winners. One was the dad of a girl I knew at uni - he won it a couple of months before he was due to receive redundancy pay and so kept it quiet. I think their winnings were in the region of £600k.
The second I don't really 'know' as such - they visited our house when we had it for sale. I think they'd won quite a large sum but still insisted on driving around in their Fiat Bravo. Madness. They didn't buy the house either, tight ba$tards

I had 5 numbers plus the bonus ball big deal all I ended up with were a few cars and nice holidays. It takes more than a couple fo quid to make a difference these days. Ive decide the lottery and other related games are for mugs.

My dad was part of a syndicate that won and he got 412k, he was 75 and most of the other members were oap's. he has invested half and is happily spending the other half at the moment although it really hasn't changed him - he still lives in his ex-council house and looks in the whoopsies at asda !!! he bought a new motor - a focus for about 10k and then spent 12k on a garage to put it in !! Still it's his to do what he likes with - and he did take me, the wife and kids to america last year.

He never even gets the rounds in when we are out on the ****.
Why do these people go on these shows ?

There's one in Portishead. £1.2m I think. Made the mistake of asking him what it was like when he found he'd won and I got a detailed account of what he did one week either side of the win. It was obviously a very practised performance and went on for hours. My eyes glazed over!
Last I heard he had split with the missus, so that's half gone , and the rest has gone on houses, boats etc. The usual!

Whatever you do, NEVER select 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 as you will be sharing the £millions with 1,000's of others!!
The odds are the same as a random selection, just loads of peeps just do the first six!!

i took out a subscription with the lottery so i never have to buy a ticket each week, also they write to me to say if ive won and also deposit cash straight into me bank
won 3 x £10 in 16 months so far lol
only took out £1 each week on a sat though
my point of view is waste time spending loads just a quid a week dont hurt and ya never know......

I managed 5 numbers last Jan and scored £1700ish
Unfortunately there were no winners of the jackpot which was £5.5m - i was gutted to have been so close yet so far
