Long hair or Short
Decided before Christmas to grow mine from my usual grade 2-3 all over.
Fed up of being called a convict the day I cut it.
So along with the warmth factor it got left to ramble away.
I'm now at the inbetween "gollywog" looking stage and everyone is telling me to get it cut.
warmest I've been for a few winters too.
So what should I do with it?
Have a "style" cut
go back to convict and cold breezes
or carry on and let it grow..
It's very thick hair, so doesn't "go lanky". just seems to carry on outwards.

Yes I know what it's like to have grade 2 or there abouts, I have had that since I left the Flat top behind shortly after leaving college.
Uses very little shampoo, no drying required afterwards, never gets in your face. no need to comb it....
I'm just starting to get annoyed with the "dragged through a hedge backwards" look as it wont lie flat at the moment. Keeps my ears warm though..
PS, Pete, cant make out if you're taking the **** or not, your persona precedes you I'm afraid.

I'm at the same stage with my hair...went for most of last year without any. And enjoyed scaring people with my "I'm gonna kill you" pshyco look (excellent for getting road ragers to back down), to large clump of hair that's almost 3" long all over, get called a scruffy git, the pshyco look now just makes me look like I'm stoned. And I'm told taht I really need the skateboard, baggy jeans and keychain to complete the "look"
I think I'll start a Ladies only poll and ask
perhaps not on this forum...as they are somewhat of a rare species here

I spent about 6 months with everyone in work telling me to get it cut, and I too have gravity defying curly hair.
Now it's longer and tied back in a pony tail they reckon it looks great. People have such short memories.
Maintenance isn't too bad, if I want to to stay in one place for most of the day I just stick it in a sink full of lukewarm water, dry a bit, brush then squeeze the water out of the ponytail and get complained at for making the floor wet.
