I'm still paying them a fiver a month after running into one of their street workers a couple of years ago......was in london as a mate had a big room with a spare bed at a nice hotel as he was on an all expenses paid course all week. I was shopping and meeting up with him in the evening. I'd arranged to meet his gf for lunch as well as hadnt seen her for a while(she worked in an office above leicester sq). On way to meet her the Amnesty girl stopped me but i said no thanks, in a hurry....then when on way to pub with her the Amnesty girl tried again having obviously forgot she'd asked me 10min ago. Reminded her and had a laugh about it but still said no thanks. Then after lunch on way back to shopping she asked again but immediately realised it was me after i just burst out laughing. I said i'd sign up if she came out on the the **** with us that night as i didnt fancy being a lemon on my own with my mate and his bird. I signed up, she came out with us, we ended up getting another room at the hotel - and she was a dirrrrty biatch So i figure i owe Amnesty a few fivers so havent cancelled it........yet
