Great. So apart from a stack of bin bags outside my house on a Monday night/Tuesday morning I can now expect to find a few bodies piled up as well........

Christ, whatever next? In essence it's a good idea to have someone who could respond quickly to such an emergency but wouldn't you think there were health issues with someone who'd been collecting garbage all morning attending the scene of a seriously ill person?

Not being flippant but wouldn't postmen/women, police officers or other delivery persons be a better option?

Revived only to be struck down again with Salmonella (sp) poisoning as Mr. Binman drops pieces of 3 day old chicken carcass all over you.

Bet the girlies are getting all wet at the thought of Mr. Binman giving them mouth to mouth

I guess if the binman f**ks up and kills you then they can always dispose of the body easily with the minimum fuss!

I work with postman, and believe me, I wouldn't want any of the smelly buggers trying to revive me

can just see me being "rushed" to hospital in a wheelie bin attached to the back end of bin-truck, sweeping the kerbs all the way to A&E at 5mph... lol.

The more people out there who are trained in CPR and have defrib machines the better IMO.

Had a heart attack last April and have met many other people with heart disease. These machines are life savers if they are used in time.

Just have to be carefull that they are not used to displace true Paramedic teams.

Cheers
Lee
