Unhappy What speed detector.

After looking through the internet to purchase a speed detector i am more confused now what to buy than before i started, anyone got any recomendations ? i was looking at the new road angel and the snooper s4 neon.

Nay sugestions please

Went for the Origin B² myself. Great little tool!

Bought one of the road angel classics and seems to be a cracking little tool for the money

depends on what you want it for, if its just to detect gatso's get a road angel or origin B2 but if you want it for camera vans both the ra and origin warn you too late so you'll need a laser jammer

The administration and police are being driven to clamp down on such devices at present and the radar and laser detectors will be illegal in a very short time. You have to balance this with any benefit you might gain in the short term I suppose but be aware that they are logging the registrations of any vehicle which gives an "error" on laser equipment and I suspect many of the owners will soon be getting to discuss the matter in some detail.

Where has it been said that they will be banning these . Especially as all motoring organisations are praising them for cutting accidents

It was on the BBC News website a couple of months ago amongst others. Its only the radar and laser detectors that are to be made illegal. GPS systems such as the Origin B² will still be ok....for now!
