Lightbulb Used Car Inspections?

I want to arrange a car inspection on a used car and have discovered that the AA (who I was going to use) no longer do them

Does anybody have any other people who do them and can be recommended?

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Matt

Wink

Cheaper to ring up the dealer garage and get them to check it out for you.

Ive sold a Peugeot 206cc recently

6 months old and 3,000 miles. The new owner wanted a check done on it and paid for the RAC to carry it out.

I thought they would turn up and take one look at the car, spend 5mins looking arounf it. But they where here for over 2hrs jacked all wheels off the ground and inspected every nook and cranny. I was really really impressed.
I could not recommend the RAC enough, and i was the seller !

Good luck with your new car

Yep I have had car checks done by customers by both the RAC and the AA, seemed to do a very thorough job and as above took a couple of hours over doing it.

Just over £200 for the very top inspection through the RAC, for a 2.0 + litre car

When I sold my first Scooby (private) the buyer wanted Subaru to look it over, 2 hours later, I think he paid something like £40 and I'd sold the car. Bargain if you ask me.

Especially when you consider their labour rates are around £65 an hour.
