another 4 mph and he could have been in a lot more trouble.

He did well to get 50mpg if he was doing 76mph.

Pete - do you know the fine, did she plead guilty by post or was she represented?

Quite a common place to be caught now from what I've read.

She pleaded guilty by post, and Im pretty sure it was 60quid. 4 seems like an odd number of points however.

Edit: and yes I aware 4 is an 'even' number of points before u jokers all jump in!

We get at least a couple done on that stretch in our company cars each month. I would have thought he'd get a fixed penalty.

I got a 3 point and £60 fixed penalty there last year (while it was still a 70mph) for doing 84mph. No idea what the thresholds are there now though but i'm always super paranoid going through these days.

Good job they don't have cameras on the bridge itsself as I've had it off the clock over there before (allegedly).

No 50mph limit or scamera vans on the old bridge, M48 is it?. Only two lanes from here to Magor but so few people use it you can press on (to 70mph of course) better than on the three lane M4.

But I'm keeping quiet, if I tell everyone it'll get too busy!
