Default My TV picture is too big for the screen?

Just noticed this when watching a movie on the sky......the credits where to the far left and slightly off the screen.

played with the TV settings (wide, 4;3, super wide, etc) but no joy.

why would it do that? it has the black bars as well which seems odd because if the picture was narrower and so fitted the horiziontal the height would be tiny (what with the bars being there already......its as though its extra wide...wide screen!

T

ps- TV is wide screen.

Its not the TV setting, you need to look at the sky settings for the display.

Change them in there and you'll be fine.

Have you got the skybox setup correctly, with a widescreen tv it should be set to 16:9 in the sky menu system. Changing the tv settings just adjusts the currently on screen picture.

press Guide then at the top there is an option called settings. use the navigation buttons to select it then go to the picture options. Change it there.
