Default ebay question

If someone has posted an item in the wrong sectionn and then re-listed it in the correct one is the original auction still binding? They have changed the item description to "please don't bid here, this is a link to my auction" but there is no reseve on the item.

What do you think?

What is the item number ?

I think that if they have ended the first early and re-listed then that is allowed by the rules.

They "Shouldn't" end a listing with less than a day to go and re-list elsewhere.

Upon futher inspection it would appear that the item the seller doesn't want you to bid on was posted second, after it had originally been posted in the wrong section. So there are two auctions for the same item. Both current, one ends two days after the other, the one with the later end date is the one the seller doesn't want you to bid on as it is there purely to redirect you to the same item in a different section.
