Not wanting to alarm you unecessarily, but has she had access to anything that she could have eaten that was poisonous? Pesticides, rat poison etc?
You say she is shaking is there any excess salivation, contracted pupils, vomitting or diarrhea? Are her gums a normal colour?
There's not much to go on, but better to rule out the more urgent possiblities first!

If your dog has been outside unsupervised, Iwould check her mouth and gums for paleness, as this is the first indication of poisoning, get a vet .If she hasn't been outside alone, something you are not aware of could have frightened her. On a weird note your house could have been invaded by a ghost and she would pick it up before you.

Or on a bright side, she's done something behind the sofa and is feeling a little sorry!!
On a serious note best check with the vet, my brothers lab is quite small and has some sort problem with thunderstorms, he can tell hours before it hits the area - starts shaking, goes really swetty. They first noticed the problem (it's funny but not funny if you know what I mean) when he chewed apart two internal doors, ripped off the cat flat on the back door and chews parts of it to get out and was found in a neighbours shed wimpering - he'd chewed through the shed as well. For a little mutt he's a muscle dog. My bro now looks at the weather daily and has some happy pills, the woofer still goes a bit lary and starts tromping round in a circle and following his misses or kids but they have had no repeat door chewing since.

She's been asleep all day so not been out to catch anything. She kept lookin up to the ceiling in the room- we think she was scared by a fly buzzing round!! Killed it now and she seems more settled. Hope this is all it was....
